Shane Rosselle, Owner and Coach

I have been studying and achieving individual and group goals in fitness since high school. My high school wrestling coach would run with me and take me to wrestling tournaments every weekend in the off-season. It paid off as I became the first state wrestling champion at my high school. My parents were great examples of work ethic.

Teaching was my profession after graduation from college. Then I became a trainer at 24 Hour Fitness. I was promoted to the position of Fitness Manager after two successful years as a trainer. I coached a National and World Champion in Masters Olympic Weightlifting. I found that the best way to keep people motivated toward a life of fitness was to get them involved in any form of competition possible.

I began Crossfitting because of the characteristics it brings out in people–hard work, committment to excellence, achievement, personal improvement, perseverence and, most of all, comeraderie.  The WODs were the best workouts I experienced since college wrestling.  I found the website because of a constant yearning to improve.
